Firefighter Cris Moore Recovery fund

Donation protected
On the afternoon of August 4th while on duty at his firehouse, a fire broke out in the building of Cris' home. Having been in the area because of another emergency he and his engine company had responded to, Cris heard his own address over the department radio. When they went there they discovered that the fire had destroyed his home. Nothing was salvageable. All of his earthly belongings not on him or in his locker at the firehouse was gone.

Cris has been serving the city of New York as a first responder for over three years. First as an FDNY EMT and now as a firefighter. He has modeled his young career of service after his father, a career paramedic who has been serving the citizens of New York for most of Cris' life.

Some things that were destroyed that afternoon can't be replaced. Some things will only ever exist now, in his memory. But for everything else lost, we who work and serve with him have set up this GoFundMe. For the basic essentials he needs to build a new home in a new place; clothes, furniture, toiletries, food, linen... we're looking to raise $6,000. This, we hope, will not only help him afford and furnish a new place but also help clothe and feed him while he gets back on his feet. Any donation you can make will be a tremendous help and greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
