Firefighter Dustin Schieber's Surviving Family
Donation protected
With a heavy, heavy heart, we announce that Dustin has gone home to be with Jesus. He departed for Heaven from the comforts of his bedroom at 8:17 p.m. on Sunday night, February 2nd. He fought a long and hard 3 and 1/2 year war with cancer. He was a warrior! Dustin was a firefighter who put his life on the line for his community for 13 years, but first, he served and loved his wife, Courtney and his young children. His goal in life was to serve others and to make sure the people he met and those around him were always okay and taken care of. Dustin even waited until a nurse arrived at his home before taking his final breath, so as not to burden his wife and family. When Dustin and Courtney got married, Courtney selflessly gave up her career to stay home and raise their children. Now that Dustin is no longer here to support their family, Courtney needs our help to continue providing for herself and their children. Please consider making a donation to contribute in supporting them and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
This fundraiser was started by Betsy Beers, the mother of Courtney Schieber. Courtney will use the funds donated to maintain her household and care for the needs of her children as the sole head of household —in the wake of her husband, Dustin Schieber’s death until such time as she can become financially stable and independent. . Courtney is the sole beneficiary who will withdraw the funds from this campaign.
