Firefighter Gary Kuhl relief fund

Donation protected

My friend and brother firefighter,  Gary Kuhl,  was forced to retire early after he began suffering the symptoms of Lyme Disease which he contracted after he was bit by a tick on a brush fire.

Gary has a wife and three children.  They are currently renting a home.  He is currently undergoing a new treatment for this disease as all of his past treatments have been unsuccessful.

Unfortunately, the disease has progressed and Gary is now confined to a wheelchair.  He has also lost some use of his hands and is unable to do routine activities of daily living.

The Orange County Fire Authority and Orange County Firefighters Local 3631 have given Gary and his family tremendous support over his eight-year battle.  What we need now is money to assist with making his home and transportation wheelchair friendly.  The money would also assist with a variety of other things including urgent mounting bills.

Gary spent his entire career helping others and now it is our turn to help him.  Please consider giving to the Kuhl family.  Any and all amounts will help.  Gary would certainly be the first to help others.  In his words he "can't wait to get well to be able to pay it forward to others."

Humbled by your support and very appreciative,
