In Loving Memory of Michael David Stokes (1976-2024)

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Michael David Stokes on Saturday, December 21, 2024. At just 48 years old, Michael left behind his loving wife, Leighann Stokes, six children—Michael, Curtis, Richard, Ricky, Ann Marie, and Colleen—and countless family members and friends who adored him.

Michael dedicated his life to serving others as a firefighter and EMTP for Nassau County, FL, until he became disabled. Despite the challenges he faced, Michael’s love for his family and his selfless spirit remained steadfast. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, a caring son, and a loyal friend to all who knew him.

This tragedy has left Leighann, a disabled mother, and their two youngest children in a very difficult position. With the unexpected financial burden of laying Michael to rest, the family is struggling to give him the proper farewell he deserves.

We are reaching out to our community for support during this challenging time. Every donation, no matter how small, will help cover Michael’s funeral expenses and provide some relief for his grieving family.

Michael gave so much of himself to others during his lifetime. Now, in his memory, let’s come together to give back to his family when they need us the most.
