Firefighting Family Pancreatic Cancer Battle Fund

After decades of dropping everything for my fellow Americans and communities to fight fire or respond to those in need at their darkest hour, I am asking for help to fight for my wife's life.
She was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 10 days ago. Her name is Cassondra and she has stood beside me for the last 10 years fighting fire and helping people. I am putting everything on hold to fight for her. Pancreatic cancer "the silent killer" has a survival rate of less than 20%,after 5 years the rate is less than 7%. We are going to fight this like a war. On 2/12/19 we are flying to the cancer treatment center of America in Chicago to start the fight for her life. As you all know this is expensive and we live paycheck to paycheck. Two of our girls are in college and the youngest will be starting this fall, we hope and pray that Cassondra will be able to see them all graduate in the next 2 to 5 years as well as watch them walk down the aisle and see her grand babies. We have fought fires in most of the Western states at one time or another and know firsthand the financial hardship that those affected have faced. As a combat veteran of the Gulf War , I am asking that you help me fund the WAR ON CANCER for my wife and others. We will be in Chicago at the hospital for at least 1 to 2 weeks with no income.
