Florez Murrell who goes by Tony considers himself a person who loves helping others,  he prides himself on making an impact on the world in a positive light and that includes him continually evolving into the best version of himself. "I'm nobody special, just a guy that loves helping others." Tony Murrell Tony is a 16 year active Firefighter Captain with the Metro Nashville Fire Department as well as a part-time EMT with the Music City Event Center where he helps protects lives during large gatherings. Outside of spending quality time with his children, friends and family, He is also a local business owner and marathon runner who travels the country running to support causes that effect our community.  His company 360 Inventory Solutions llc is another way he helps people during difficult circumstances.  He helps families and business protect their net worth by documenting the proof of ownership of high valued items in case of fire, flood or theft. But his motivation to help others does not stop there.  He is also donating a kidney to help save his sister's, Tabula Lowe, life.  She is currently on dialysis 9 hours a day, 7 days a week and is in dire need of a kidney transplant.  They are currently awaiting a surgery date and is undergoing needed testing in preparation.   According to Go Fund Me, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services indicates that there has been a total of 27,605 organ transplant surgeries performed from January to November of 2016.  Every 10 minutes the transplant waiting list grows by one person, according to The United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS).  UNOS reports that the most common types of organ transplants are kidney, liver, and heart. Other organs used for transplant are the lungs, pancreas, and intestines. Tony has been flying back and forth from Nashville to Chicago where his sister currently lives to undergo testing and medical procedures in preparation for the transplant surgery.  This is very expensive and time consuming.  The cost of the surgery, post operation treatment, travel, and lost wages,  Tony and his sister Tabula needs your donation to cover the needed expenses of the much needed organ transplant surgery. When asked what does undergoing this surgery mean to Tony in regards to saving his sister's life, He stated, "Being given this opportunity to save a life is my greatest honor, even over being a Firefighter.  This is especially important to me because I have the opportunity to save my own sister.  Saving her life means the world to me and our entire family.  There was never a question donating my kidney once I found out I was a viable match.  The question was when and how do I give her a kidney."  "Everyone may not have the ability to save someone's life by donating a kidney but we all can support the cause by just giving a small donation to help those who can.  I thank you all in advance for your donations and prayers that both myself and Tabula recover from this life saving organ transplant surgery."
