Fireman Gary Hilbert Needs Our Help
Donation protected
Retired Evanston Firefighter, Gary "Bert" Hilbert has been suffering from a debilitating condition that causes neurological deterioration through brain atrophy. Over the past few weeks his condition has worsened. He is now struggling day to day at home with hospice care and the support of his loving wife, Dee and family by his side.
Gary has two sons and one daughter along with seven grandchildren. In addition to being a great husband, father and grandfather, Gary was an outstanding firefighter who served the city of Evanston for over 30 years. He continues to be remembered for his smile, sense of humor and affinity for fitness.
After years of Bert sharing his strength and wisdom with us, it is time for us to help him.
The expenses for Gary's round the clock care and medical needs continue to grow. In an effort to help offset some of this expense, your kindness and generosity would be most appreciated by the family.
Thank you for your consideration. Dee has an "open door policy" and welcomes any visitors. She kindly requests a phone call in advance.
