Firhill Road Sports Ground Building Project

Help us further improve our community sports ground

Who are we? We are the Lewisham Sports Consortium, an award-winning BME-led charity that has been working for 20+ years to clear a formerly disused piece of land, now known as Firhill Road Sports Ground ( Bellingham, Lewisham ) and restore it so that it can be used for sports and erect a multi-purpose building on the site.

The first part has been done; the land is now clear and used by 20+ football teams in Lewisham as a home ground facility and for school holiday schemes, education programmes, and social and cultural events.

We are now trying to raise £5,000 by the end of September 2023 to help us build the single-storey multi-purpose building. It will be used for community, cultural and social and educational activities.

The funds raised will help us to pay for reports required to take forward our application for planning permission to build at the sports ground. The cost of the remaining reports to support our application is £5,000.
