First Aid Medical Supplies for Ukraine's Cities

I am Sergei Sokolenko, and I live a relatively comfortable life in Berlin, Germany. My siblings, nephews, and millions of Ukrainian residents in Ukraine's frontline cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Mariupil etc are not, though. They hide in their bathrooms and bomb shelters from the rockets of the Putin army, and they get shot at by the "liberators" as they try to find food, medicine and shelter.

 

This is why I am running this fundraiser. We raise money for first aid supplies:

 

Before this war, I had no idea what a "Israeli bandage" was, or how a trauma scissor was different from a regular one. But once again, just as in 2014, the Ukrainians self-organized and built a logistics chain to supply the goods that the mainline logistics operation operated by the Ukrainian government is just too slow to organize.

 

I usually get requests for specific items from folks in Ukraine whom I know. I then buy the goods in Germany, and I bring them over to logistics hubs on the Polish border. From there, the supplies get delivered where there is the largest need.
