First Latinamerican team to row across the Atlantic Ocean

We are Oceanida, an all-women's crew who will be the first team from Mexico and Latinamerica to row across the Atlantic.

We are four women that share two vital commitments: the protection and regeneration of marine ecosystems and a desire that more women can reach their goals in equal opportunities.

We know that every woman, and every person, has an ocean to cross. We want to inspire and support others to, against tides and through the storm, cross their own ocean. This is why, as part of our campaign, we are directly supporting two grassroots causes: Fondo Guadalupe Musalem (a Mexican NGO that provides education for young indigenous and afromexican girls of rural Oaxaca) and Sirenas de Natividad (a group of 5 women divers in a small fishing island in Baja California Sur and became certified divers in order to monitor marine ecosystems and help protect them).
