First marathon to support Ukraine via Sunflowers Wales!!!

Hi all! My name is Sofiya. I'm a Ukrainian who moved to Wales in 2003.

On the 2nd of August, it was not just my 38th birthday but also an 890th day of awful war that is tearing my homeland appart.

To support my country, I am proud to participate in my first-ever marathon, which will take place in Snowdon on 26.10.24. It has been my personal goal for a while. I have been putting in a lot of effort every week to prepare for the Eryri challenge.

I am overwhelmed with emotions as I want to dedicate this race to my country and the Ukrainian people, who are fighting for their lives and freedom. The daily suffering and losses that my country endures fill me with regret and pain.

Therefore, I ask all caring people to support me in this project and help me collect donations, which I will transfer to our local community group, Sunflowers Wales (https://sunflowerswales.org.uk/ ).
