Hello everyone! My name is Lilee Lara, and I'm 17 years old (turning 18 in November, whoop whoop! ). Three years ago, I had to leave my home and have been moving around different places while figuring out how to support myself financially. Throughout all of this, color guard has been my constant source of joy and passion. I started spinning when I was 12, and my love for this activity has only grown stronger over the years. It has shaped me into the person I am today, and I can't imagine my life without it. I'm thrilled to share that I've been offered a spot in Icon's Independent World Class Winter guard! This will be my third year in an independent class team, but it's my FIRST year in world class. The experience has been incredible already, from attending auditions to meeting the amazing people I can call my teammates! I would be extremely grateful for any support in continuing my color guard journey with this fantastic team. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and share this.
