Firthy's Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Ian and I am fundraising to help my friend Lee Firth and his family.

Lee has been my friend since high school.

7 years ago Lee was diagnosed with a brain tumour and underwent brain surgery to remove it. Due to its position not all of it could be removed. As a result of the surgery he had issues with his sight, mobilty and speech.

Since then he's had numerous surgeries for complications with a shunt that was fitted, more surgery to remove part of the tumour and recently, surgery to remove some cysts on his brain.

Lee currently needs a high level of care which will be ongoing.

I am running the Delamere Forest trail marathon on 3/11/24 to try and raise some money for Lee and his family. This is to support Lee in getting any care he needs and help his wife Becky, and his 2 children, Millie and Oliver.

**update**

Lee passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday 20/10/24. The money was always going to go towards getting Lee the constant care that he needed. It is now going towards his funeral funeral costs, to help his family give him the send off he deserves.
