Fitchburg Veterans Center

WE ARE ECSTATIC TO ANNOUNCE THAT FITCHBURG WILL FINALLY HAVE A VETERANS CENTER!!!

Having a location is wonderful, but now we need to raise funds to be able to outfit it and obtain office equipment in order to be operational (computers, desks, printers, furniture… etc. We are working on getting grants, but as we all know that grants are not a given, and they take TIME.

The center will provide office space for the City's Veteran organizations and a "drop-in center" to give our Veterans a space to gather and commemorate. We are also working with area resources in order to be able to provide mental health counseling, support groups, financial advising, and more.

Any excess money raised will go towards operations and programs for our Veterans.

The center will be located on the 2nd floor of the Armory on Wallace Avenue. Since there is work to be done before we can move in, the timeline of when it will be operational is currently undetermined. We are hoping for January-February.
