Christmas Miracle Needed - desperate for a used vehicle.
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Laurie Minnick and I would like to tell you all about my friend Dianna Moreno. Dianna is one of the sweetest, kindest people you could ever meet. Her life has been full of difficulty and heartache, yet she is cheerful, loving, and giving; brightening the day of anyone she crosses paths with. If she has extra food, she makes sandwiches and takes them across the way, handing them out to the homeless. If there is a friend in need, she puts the word out and solicits help for that friend. She watches children in the apartment complex she lives in when needed at no charge. The list goes on and on. Yet, Dianna and her family struggle to get by on a daily basis. Their only source of income is disability. There are no extra funds to buy anything. They pay rent and utilities and buy needed medications and minimal groceries. And, many times, they struggle to make the income stretch to cover these necessities. There are no extra funds for emergencies. Dianna and her husband no longer have a vehicle. Their van finally died. They have no way to get to much needed doctor appointments, pick up medicine, or buy groceries. Dianna suffers from COPD. For those not familiar with this disease, it is chronic and causes irreversible damage to the lungs, making it more and more difficult to breathe until an oxygen tank is required. Heat and humidity make it even more difficult to breathe, to the point of feeling as if you are suffocating. But, for Dianna, it is intolerable and she becomes physically ill from the extreme temperatures.
The Morenos are in desperate need for a vehicle. This Christmas, can you find it in your heart to donate towards the goal of getting a used vehicle? No donation is too small. If you can't donate, please share with your family and friends. Thank you so very much!
