Why We’re Asking for Support

Like many small businesses, the past few years have been challenging, with rising costs and shifting demand. Despite this, we’ve worked hard to keep going, fuelled by our passion for making a difference in our community. However, our trusted van has broken down and has brought us to a critical crossroads.

On Tuesday 3rd December, our van broke down, and repairs are estimated at £1,800–£2,000. As we rely heavily on the van, we urgently need to fix it to continue serving you, especially during the busy Christmas season.

A Vision for Growth

Before this setback (literally in the past two weeks), we had exciting plans to expand into a local shop space to offer even more to our community. This is a big leap for us, but we believe expanding our offering (e.g. food) is the right step to ensure the business can continue in these challenging times. However, the unexpected repair costs mean we can’t fix the van and invest in the shop space at the same time.

We’re reaching out to our amazing community for help to overcome this hurdle. With your support, we can repair the van and keep working towards opening the shop, bringing our vision to life.

As we mentioned above, this is a critical time for us. Without being able to expand, we’re worried about the time we have left, and without your help to fix the van, expansion won’t be possible.
