In the early hours of Wednesday 30th November, Dundee Rugby’s Alloway Campus was vandalised by a car ploughing over up all three pitches and leaving them unplayable and trainable which was utterly devastating to the club and to top it off vehicle was later set on fire in the old tennis courts and left to burn out
This is going to leave our 20 plus team juniors, mens and women’s with severe restrictions to train or play for the foreseeable future and as the winter approaches is quite serious in all our teams development.
Dundee Rugby formed in season 2021-22 after Dundee HSFP and Morgan came together. These clubs have a great history in the city and our new club aims to drive rugby forward in the Tayside area and to realise the undoubted potential around the fourth largest city in Scotland. Dundee Rugby has in the region of 500 players and over 100 volunteers as part of a thriving and growing community.
We are looking to raise funds to repairs all three pitches which is a big job and improved security fencing and lighting to help ensure this never happens again.
Any donations large or small are GREATLY appreciated in this time of need for our great community club.
