I'd certainly like to eat potato chips again!
Jokes aside, the other day, I found out that I've put off dental work for so long at this point that my teeth are either infected or quickly working it's way there. Right now, I have pericoronitis on the right side of my mouth and, well, it hurts. If the infection spreads, then other serious health problems may develop.
Of course, I only put off the work due to the lack of money in order to get it done. Curses!
I was going to wait until I secured a good enough job to do it, but the urgency of the recent news has driven me to try anything I can to be able to afford to fix my mouth. I am in the process of constantly searching for a proper job that will help me afford all this.
Additionally, My individual dental plan canceled service in my area back in December and I've not been told about it. Supposedly, they sent a letter, but it must have been lost in the mail. So I don't have dental insurance and getting new insurance would put me on a waiting period to only partially cover the services I need.
Procedures I was told are needed:
- 2 definite root canals
- 3 "maybe" root canals
- Wisdom tooth extraction by an oral surgeon (all 4)
- SEVERAL crowns
- Minor fillings, not to worried about those at the moment if you can imagine.
This fundraiser might help me afford the more important and immediate of these procedures! The root canals are the most expensive part of this... though the wisdom teeth come first. I am sure the fundraiser would not cover all of it, but it would be a massive step in the right direction. The major procedures need to be taken care of as soon as monetarily possible for me.
I would really appreciate any kind of help. If you absolutely cannot donate anything, please take the time out of your day to share this page. I can't tell you how much that would mean for me.
Thank you so much for your time!!
