F@$k Cancer Let Chucky Shred
Hello, My name is Stephen Coleman I am starting this fundraiser for my client/brother/best friend Chucky A.K.A Charlie Holderman! We can’t do fundraisers because of COVID-19, we cannot hold fundraiser until this virus fizzles out or dies completely. Insurance is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to medical expenses. The money that he raised from the snowboard community has been depleted. What many people do not realize is, medical bills include more than just doctors’ visits. Every scan, test, appointment, medication, procedure, lodging, food, and travel expenses.
Charlie is paying four months of treatment as a cash pay patient which is $15,000. The two deductibles are $6200 and $6500. As you can see, fundraising money can only go so far.
As you can see, Charlie’s medical journey is not cheap. He is paying a lot of things out of his pocket. It is easy to give up when you cannot get the care you need. Now, the importance of this message is about helping Charlie fight this battle. He is fighting for 4 months now and each day seems to get harder and harder for him. He is stressing about expenses since he has not worked in over 4 months due to being deemed disabled within one month of applying.
If all his snowboard friends and team, family, classmates etc. would donate $20, it would greatly help offset the personal costs he endures. If you do not want to do cash, you can always pay through PayPal (paypal.me/TheChuckst3r) or CashApp ($TheChuckst3r). Another thought is that you can donate miles or purchase gift cards for him to use at their convenience.
The snowboard community needs your help! We’re on a mission to Save Our Chuckster and get back on his snowboard this winter. He is an amazing, savage, adventurous, (not to mention bad ass backcountry snowboarder) this is an urgent plea to raise immediately. This is a cancer fundraiser for him.
Charlie was recently diagnosis with stage 3 aggressive stomach cancer with he fractured his ankle from a snowboard accident and a doctor sat down next to him and said the word “Charlie, this isn’t good, you have cancer.” And he laughed at him when cancer was mentioned but that’s when he was very devastated and realized his world flipped upside in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on March 22, 2021
Charlie works full time ministry serving and loving those in the snowboard community/industry. He have coached thousands of kids at HOLDERMAN SHRED x ENJOY and influenced by the next youth generations because he’s a legendary snowboarder who’s fluid style has inspired riders all across the world. He’s humble and has never lost his unique sense of humor, even to this day. He’s currently fighting for aggressive stomach cancer like a savage. He refuse to give in. He’s living his life in the snowboard scene as a rider turned business owner who help everyone he could along his successful path. Anyone who was fortunate enough to bask in his wisdom and infinite generosity knows the world is a better place with the Chuckster in it. He is about to be in debt with many hospital bills and medical treatments he cannot afford. He has no family and no one to turn to but his friends and Tahoe Tribe to help him through these tough times.
The many lives he’s touched is evident by how many people have already responded to his need for prayers and support. Anything you can do to help would mean a lot to Charlie.
Sorry this post is so long, but I felt the need to put some things down on paper to show the world what kind of struggle Charlie endures from one month to the next. He does not complain and remains strong even when others around him are not. He has a lot of pride about himself and will not ask for help, monetary/donations, etc. So, being the loving friend that I am, I have decided to send the message out asking for help in his behalf.
Please share this post on your page to help get the word out about Charlie’s medical journey. The donations he has received has been a blessing to him. These donations have kept him from having to take money out of his personal account and brand and business account. All prayers and donations are greatly appreciated.
