#FkCaner Sandi's Medical Bills
Donation protected
Growing up, we've all had that one friend whose mom was "Mom" to all our friends. For me, and now for her daughters, that's Sandi. While Sandi is my aunt, I'm still technically her firstborn. (Sorry girls :p). But in all seriousness, Sandi was diagnosed with triple negative stage 2 breast cancer this July and has undergone weekly chemotherapy treatments since. She is now transitioning to treatments once every three weeks, with surgery to follow, including radiation.
As you know, insurance only goes so far, and bills add up quickly. While Sandi can work from home, chemotherapy can take a lot out of those who receive it. Side effects range from extreme exhaustion to severe nausea and weakness, leaving patients unable to work or go about their lives as they usually would, as symptoms can last for days after receiving treatment. So I'm asking for help to cover out-of-pocket costs and time off while Sandi fights against this awful disease. Sandi, her daughters, and the rest of us greatly appreciate any amount donated and taking the time to share.
