Urgent Apeal: Help Kuhail’s family to seek safety
Donation protected
Hello, I’m Hiba AlSharif,I am fundraising on behalf of my relatives to escape and emerge from the devastating genocide in Gaza. And here's their story to escape and emerge from the devastating genocide in Gaza. And here's their story!
"Hello World", we are the koheil family."
We are a family of 13 members — two brothers (Omar, Hassan) and seven sisters (Abeer, Andaleeb, Rima, Farah, Yasmin, Nada), along with our parents (Hassan, Fidaa). We used to live a happy and peaceful life before the war destroyed everything: our home, our work, our university, and our dreams!
I never imagined I would have to ask anyone for help. We were always the ones helping others, and that’s why I delayed creating this link. But life put us in a position where we must move forward and save our family.
My Dad and his investment with our destroyed house too!
My father’s investment projects were destroyed. We used to own buildings to rent out to people, and now we are living in tents on lands that belong to others. This is what our life has turned into.
Our life with tents!
Inside our family, each member bears their own burden of suffering, starting with Hassan, who has not yet turned three years old.who is considered the spoiled prince of the family. He should be living in his room filled with toys and tranquility, receiving food, water, and hygiene supplies, far from the diseases and pollution that come with living in a war zone.
Rana, a 27-year-old young woman, She combined her work as an accountant and manager at Glamorous Salon and Glamour Studio with running her own accessories business. However, the war destroyed all her dreams and business. Despite this, Rana remains hopeful and is determined to rebuild her life in a safe new place after escaping from Gaza.
The Two Young Girls, Farah and Yasmin
Farah, our brightest star, is studying dentistry and was supposed to graduate this year. Unfortunately, she had to stop her education due to the war and is now selling her tools to meet her personal needs.
As for Yasmin, my 18-year-old sister, she is in her final year of high school and is a member of the Knights Arts and Dance Troupe. Despite participating in many local performances, she was unable to join her troupe's shows in France because of the war. Although she lost her chance to graduate, she remains determined to showcase Palestinian heritage to the world.
For the past year, the army has forcibly displaced us, leaving us with no safe place and no means to travel. The Egyptian coordination program requires $5,000 per person just to cross into Egypt, excluding living expenses or basic necessities. Unfortunately, we do not have enough money for travel costs. A total of CAD 90,000 is needed for us to reach Egypt, and we will try to manage the rest of the costs as a family until we can find work.
With your support, we can rebuild our lives piece by piece and rekindle hope in our hearts. Your generous donations will help cover travel expenses, provide shelter, and create educational opportunities, allowing Hasan to live healthily and free from fear, while Yasmin can pursue her dream of performing traditional dance. Together, we can overcome challenges and build a bright future for the Kahil family. Every donation and every shared word paves the way for a new beginning. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support during these difficult times.
