Support Western NC Baseball: Restore Fields & Gear

In September 2024, Hurricane Helene swept through Western North Carolina, leaving a path of devastation that touched every aspect of life, including our beloved high school baseball programs. The relentless storm brought unprecedented flooding, rendering fields unplayable, damaging equipment, and affecting the homes of players and coaches alike. These young athletes, who dream of playing under the lights, scoring the winning run, or throwing the final strike, have seen their hopes submerged by the damage left in the path of Helene.

HOW WILL MONEY BE SPENT?

Field Recovery: The baseball fields, where memories are made and skills are honed, are currently underwater or covered in debris. We need funds to repair and restore these fields to their former glory, ensuring that they're ready for practices and games come spring 2025.

Equipment Replacement: From bats to bases, the storm has damaged or destroyed much of the equipment these teams rely on. Replacing this gear is essential for the teams to continue playing and competing.

Support for Players and Coaches: Many players and coaches have had their personal lives turned upside down by the hurricane. Some have lost their homes, others their means to travel to games. This fundraiser will also help provide immediate relief to those families most affected.

At this time, we're working directly with several high school programs that we've personally identified as ones in need of help. We continue to reach out and look for other programs that could use our help. If you have a suggestion for a school that we should contact, please email us and include the head coach's name and phone number.
