Flavin Fund

Unfortunate events led to a pretty devastating house fire early this morning at the Flavin house in Brookside. All the Flavins are safe and got out unharmed but only with the clothes on their backs. It's a tragic event that couldn't have happened to more wonderful people.

While the damage hasn't been fully assessed, much of the roof has collapsed into the top floor which is where all their bedrooms are located. Add that and all the water damage, I'd say it's safe to assume almost all will be lost.

Though insurance will help replace some items, this is our way of helping to compensate for some of the possessions lost, especially for Tierney. No little girl should ever be without her favorite stuffed animals to comfort her at night. Everyone who knows her knows what a sweet, intelligent, selfless, caring, thoughtful, wonderful, and so much more little girl she is.

In an effort to help not replace but compensate for some of their possessions lost, a fund has been created to help them in their time of need. 

Anyone who's everyone that knows the Flavin family knows that they would help in anyway they can, no matter how small. 

With Kevin's help, it's imperative that we should all come together and help to spoil the "shit" out of a family who does so much for so many in this community and beyond. The Flavin's have helped so many of us in so many different ways, so time to return the favor.

Any amount will help especially if we all come together to help them! Whether it's $5 or $500 - no amount is too small to matter or help!
