FLCKR Feral Cat Fund

Hello! My name is Gareth Evans. In August, we began starting FLCKR Cat Clinic and Rescue.

We started as a Clinic to pair low income families with low income vetting. We have grown into getting established as an animal rescue and working on 501c3 status. We have fixed over 150 cats and adopted 50 kittens to loving families.

We are looking to establish a Feral Cat Fund so we can TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vet, Release) the cats of the Finger Lakes Region. These funds will go towards vetting these cats and supply costs, so we never have to decide between helping a cat or not due to money. TNVR is extremely important for the feral cat populations. In most communities, TNVR acts as a population control, but in some communities, TNVR will shrink the size of feral cat colonies. A feral cat population of 5 can become 25 in less than a year!

We are a team of 10 fosters and volunteers but looking to serve more. Together, we will expand and grow our rescue so we can serve more cats and hopefully TNVR every cat and kitten in the Finger Lakes so there are no more kittens born on the streets!
