Fleet Park Seniors Journey to the SE Region Tournament

Our talented Norfolk-based Little League Baseball All-Star Team, Fleet Park Seniors Gold, won the VA District 8 baseball title and the VA State baseball title. They will be heading down to Safety Harbor, FL to compete in the Southeast Region Tournament beginning on July 19th. Although this is an exciting opportunity for the boys, it will also be an expensive one. We are asking for our local businesses and individuals in our communities to come together and help support this endeavor through monetary funds. 100% of these funds will go to travel expenses for the team. It will help pay for hotels and meals for the 6-7 days in Safety Harbor while the boys are battling for the Southeast Region title to get them to the Little League World Series. Any contribution would be appreciated.

This team of 16 fantastic young men worked and trained hard to get this far. With their passion for the game, these boys were selected based on their talent, drive and love for the game - encompassing the best, well-rounded baseball team. They should be rewarded for not only winning but learning life lessons that will serve them later, like perseverance, mental toughness and teamwork while keeping it fun. In life, there are always challenges, and these boys have learned how to deal with them.
