Fleming, Flannery and Friends Album

Hello!

We are Fleming and Flannery, a musical duo from Lewisburg Pennsylvania, that has been performing together for almost 15 years. Growing up in Lewisburg, we were the beneficiaries of an amazing local scene, that led to both of us studying music in college. Ryan Flannery attended College of Charleston, and Taylor Fleming attended Berklee College of Music. We have been writing and composing for the last year or so, and when it came time to record we both thought it would be a great chance to highlight and to feature some of the talent in the area. We are setting out to make an album of original jazz compositions with some of our close friends, in tribute not only to the area but to the amazing musical community that we are fortunate to be a part of.

All contributions will go to the creative process which includes studio time, mixing, mastering, musician payment (we all love what we do, but time is money!), CD pressing, and other odds and ends that come about when recording a project. Additionally, we are sourcing our CD design, and other creative aspects to local artists. To give you an idea of our expected cost breakdown:

Studio Time : $2000

Mixing: $1300

Mastering: $1000

Musician fees: $1500

Art (Album and otherwise): $400

CD and online distribution: $750

Everyone who contributes to this project will be credited in the liner notes of the album, as well as receiving a copy of the finished project in the mail (or in person at a show, which we would certainly prefer). We would love to have you join us on this journey. Thank you.
