Flexible Seating for an Autism Special Day Class!
Donation protected
For students with Autism, sensory issues, or ADHD, dynamic seating options are often key to their ability to learn. Flexible seating is designed to stimulate students' sense of touch. This is important because sensory stimulation can help kids focus and process information. Flexible seating in classrooms encourages movement and physical activity. Flexible seating can offer sensory input and mobility through wiggling, bouncing, rocking, leaning etc.
Flexible seating and accessories such as bean bags, stools, seat cushions, bouncing balls, chair bands, and feet cushions can be a game changer for my 2nd and 3rd-grade students with Autism and ADHD.
