Flight to NZ, Daughter to visit sick Dad

Hello, my name is Charlotte and I am desperately trying to raise money to buy a plane ticket to visit my Dad who lives in New Zealand.

18months ago my Dad had knee replacement surgery which resulted in him fighting for his life in intensive care with a pulmonary embolism, such a scary time as the UK was in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic and I was a week away from giving birth to my third child. Due to the pandemic and being heavily pregnant there was no way I could visit him. Since then, my Dad has gone under general anaesthetic 4-5 more times for various complications and is still suffering with infections, heavy bleeding, pain, swelling and risk of sepsis. He currently has an antibiotic stent into his heart and a drainage line out of the wound in his leg. He is in and out of hospital awaiting more news from the surgeon, it’s all very worrying and upsetting.

I would love to be there to hold his hand and spend some meaningful time with him. It’s been 4 years since I’ve seen him and I don’t feel I should leave it much longer. Hoping to travel in August 2022.
