Hello:)
Chalyn Here! Just turning 33 today!!Happily married with two beautiful kids. A stay at home mom & currently homeschooling my children.
I am here today to bring an update on my Mama:)
One month ago Mama was diagnosed with a very rare cancer called Neuroendocrine Cancer. It attacks the GI, pancreas, lungs and more. The doctors said it is aggressive and stage 4.
The prognosis given was 5-10 years. However that could change. I'm believing for the better. Hallelujah!
She recently applied at Stanford university in hopes of getting accepted into one of their clinical trials for Neuroendocrine cancer.
If accepted she will fly from Alaska to the university and be seen by leading experts in the latest medical advances in medicine & cancer research & be given a plan of ACTION!
Please pray with us for an amazing plan of care and an amazing team of doctors.
Mama has been extremely blessed during this time, surrounded by beautiful, loving, nurturing people, who have spent nights with her, cleaned her car, her house, brought food, you name it!!!! It's been an overflowing love. Truly truly truly Thankful you guys!
My mom has always been very resourceful. She had to learn quickly having to raise three kids and get herself through college and work.
She has continued to be resourceful during this time. She amazes me all the time. God has given her a warrior spirit.
Gods hand and provision has been tremendous. We believe she will have every need met & beyond.
Living in Alaska with no family to help her on a daily basis there have been challenging times to say the least. Right now especially because we need to get her ready to move out of Alaska where she can be around more family support over the course of her treatment. This will be determined soon.
However family has been arriving sporadically to stay as long as they can to help. Thankfully my Mama's Mama, ( Nana) is there now & WE will be there soon!
To move her out of Alaska like this will be exhausting on many levels.
She just bought her home, which she loves this past January. She has animals that she loves and needs to part ways with as much of her things as possible. She needs so much prayer for strength and encouragement to get through this next big life change. It's hard to let go.
With THANKS to all of YOU, WE have reached a financial goal that will get us to Alaska this summer to help her in whatever ways needed. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!
With all my heart I thank you for taking the time to read this and for SHARING all your love. Thank you for standing with us in Prayer & believing and hoping with us for miracles:)
So thankful for you all!
With Love & Gratitude,
Chalyn DePaolantonio

My mom and I this last Christmas. And above are her grandchildren Stella and Will.
It was my favorite Christmas ever, and this was just before she knew something was very wrong going on in her body.
Love you Mom!
