FLIP FLOPS TO FOCUS PADS

Donation protected
I seen something on Instagram last night which massively humbled me to my core.

My martial arts academy account was followed by a martial arts group from Uganda These guys had nothing, using flip flops for focus pads and training in the dirt, yet they still taught kids how to fight, keep active, and everything else that martial arts brings.

It made me realise how fortunate I am, to have a great business, all the equipment we could ever need and to live a full and prosperous life.

Their page was flooded with messages with pleas of help, for donations to buy food and water to keep their dream alive. I researched how much donations would be and what it could buy them and my mind was blown with what i found.

For just £1 you could buy a full day's food, I seen a video on YouTube and a woman spent the day on just $1.50, she bought x2 bananas and bottled waters for breakfast, a huge omelette for lunch, watermelon slices and evening tea, which I may add she shared with her brother. £1 fed two adults for a full day!

I have now reached out to the group as I want, no let me rephrase that, must help them in some way.

It's easy to get caught in the trap of being a go getter and putting your own hopes and dreams first but I truely believe life is fully appreciated and fulfilled when you give back.

After i reached out to Kayigwa (Kay) who is the legend in trying to do the best for his community (coach) he told me that many of the children are also orphans which literally broke my heart

Kays main focus is to have food and water for his team but his ultimate goal is to build his own club with a premises where the children can also live. How amazing is this ❤️

I am working solo on this project and have already started to organise things to have clothing sent to Kay for the children but with support from people such as yourself I know we can impact in a positive way on a much greater scale.

If anyone wishes to help me build on this so these guys never need to ask for help online again please donate whatever you can, even if you can spare a couple of pounds I promise you it will be going to a great bunch who literally have nothing yet still get up each day to train in a sport many of us love so so much.

Whatever you do today remember to take a step back, look around you and be grateful for everything you have, some people out there literally have nothing yet never complain. It's time we realised that we are so blessed and are already living a life of abundance which many would give everything to have what we do right here and now.

Kay has told me, to have the childrens bellies full and pay bills each month to keep his dream alive helping his community it costs just $300 (£240), to them this is a huge amount but with your help whatever the donation I know we can make a difference.

I have set the funding target at £1500 (6 months taken care of for these guys) Let's hope we can achieve this and surpass it by thousands

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about Kay and what he is doing and also my plea to help and support them, and of course thank you for your kind donations
