Flood damage: Help Amber rebuild her home.

Hey friends and fellow nurses,

Couple of days ago a massive storm system swept through San Diego and left hundreds with damaged homes, totaled cars and some were forced to flee their homes.

Today one of our own needs help! My friend Amber is an ICU nurse and a hard working mama of 3 kiddos.

She came home from another exhausting 12 hr shift to shoveling dirt and getting water out of her home. After 12 hrs on her feet she and her friend removed all

the damaged carpet from kids bedrooms and moved furniture to avoid further damage.

There is NO insurance coverage since here in SoCal we don’t have many “flood zones” so homeowners insurance for flood is not offered unless damage comes from roof. So Amber is looking at ALL OUT OF POCKET expenses.

Amber is one of the strongest, fiercely independent women who would never ask for help. She helps hundreds of critically ill patients and then goes home to care for her kids and run a household on her own.

Currently, thousands of dollars are needed to have dry wall replaced, purchasing de-humidifier and replacing damaged carpet, furniture and kids items.

In times like this we must rely on each other for support and help so I ask you to step up for our fellow nurse and mama!
