Flood Disaster at Tirranna Springs Roadhouse

This month the Burke Shire received upwards of 750mm of rain in a matter of 3 days. This has resulted in major flooding in these very small remote communities. The Tirranna Springs Roadhouse is run by a small family who live and work at this remote location all year round and have been devastated by what has happened. They have lost everything and I mean EVERYTHING. Their insurance was cancelled before this weather event because they were too much of a risk for any insurance company. We want to do our bit for these wonderful people and raise whatever we can to help them get back on their feet after such a tragedy.
