La Strada Millburn Flood Recovery

Hello everyone, I'm fundraising on behalf of La Strada Restaurant. In July Rakesh & Ron took over La Strada and were working to clean things up a bit, streamline the menu, and update. They wanted to spend a few months getting to know the community and customers & hear what your wants are before having a formal reopening.
Taking over a restaurant in a pandemic is no easy feat but they believed in the Millburn community and knew La Strada was a staple to many. They were already dealing with staff shortages, and supply & delivery setbacks, all while working around the clock to keep the same La Strada you've all known and loved for years. This week's flood has now cost them ALL of their basement equipment including dough machines, prep refrigerators, even the furnace and entire office space. As you may or may not know the heart of a restaurant is in the prep space, in NJ many times that's in the basement. All of the supply, materials and equipment live in that space. Insurance does not cover basement flooding.
We would love to get back open to you all again as soon as possible and would greatly appreciate any donations to this effort. Employees have been working day & night to get things cleaned up and we will be putting as much effort as we can into raising any equipment off the ground even more than before.
