Flood relief after UNBELIEVABLE storm

HELLO FAMILY!!! My name is Brenda Suarez. I was born and raised in San Diego and was recently severely impacted by the devastating storm on the 22nd of January, 2024. My heart is broken as I write this, I never imagined experiencing something so catastrophic in San Diego.

Our entire house flooded about two feet, ruining everything the water touched including: walls, carpets, floors, electronics, a variety of clothing, food, refrigerators, mattresses/bed frames, important documents, washer, dryer, a variety of household supplies, and MANY, MANY other personal and business belongings. My car was also damaged and totaled due to the storm.

My mom bought our home in 2011 and has worked soooo hard to maintain every single corner. It was heart breaking and dismantling to watch everything be submerged with such powerful force.

It will take time to rebuild and reconstruct our home, but we are hopeful and GRATEFUL for our lives and the lives of our three doggies. Any help, assistance, love, hugs, prayers, ANYTHING, is warmly appreciated, as we literally rebuild from the ground up. Because we did not have flood insurance, none of the damages will be covered.
