Flood relief for Gaby

Hi All, my name is Taylor and I am fundraising for my colleague and work bestie, Gaby!

I have worked with Gaby over the past two years here in San Diego helping homeless and at risk transitional aged youth navigate the systems in place and stabilize. During my time working with Gaby she has provided endless support to not only our youth but to our team as a whole. Gaby has supported me in endless ways from our partnership in running a five bed bridge housing program to being someone I can confidently to turn. She has been there not only in times of celebration and wins for our youth but in times of sadness, anger and hurt.

Currently, Gaby and her sweet little kitty are being faced with the same challenge that she actively works against and supports our youth through - housing loss. With the recent flooding that occurred within San Diego county it has lead to Gaby losing not only her car, due to being submerged in water and quite literally floating away but, her stable housing due to it being deemed unlivable. At this time we are asking for funds to help support her through this time of need and rebuilding. The funds would go towards the basic items that everyone needs for day to day living - clothing, hygiene, household supplies, transportation and most importantly regaining stable housing.
