Flood relief for the Herridge family

On behalf of the Herridge family, we are asking for donations so help them with immediate needs to get the back on their feet following devastating floods affecting our community. Thomas and Trini are our friends and neighbours, and loving parents of two young daughters - Sofia Billie (3) and Mila Grace (1).

Their family home was destroyed in one of the worst affected areas of Machans Beach, and they had to evacuate with only the clothes they were wearing. They now face the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives and home after losing everything only a week before Christmas.

Tom and Trini are generous and well-loved members of the Machans Beach community, and despite having lost their cars, home and all of their possessions, have been working tirelessly to help others in the clean up after this catastrophic event. They have also pledged to donate 50% of donations from this relief fund to other families in need, which speaks to their generosity and community spirit.

Restoring their home will be a long process as it requires extensive work - it will need new flooring, re-plastering, electrical work, replacement of doors, cupboards, power points, tiles. I know Tom and Trini would be so grateful for any donation you could provide to help with immediate needs such as replacing mattresses and appliances, and essential items to allow them to start rebuilding their life.
