Flood the West
The NSW farmers are doing it tough at the moment with the drought. Imagine putting tens of thousands dollars worth of seed into the dirt and then it doesn’t rain. Imagine having to kill your stock cause you can’t afford to feed it. Imagine working a 14 hour day in the dust, dirt and sun and then you can’t even have a shower.
YOU CAN HELP.
Rather then knowing this and doing nothing, We have decided to head out West with a group of mates to some drought affected areas in NSW to support the farmers, their families and their communities.
On Saturday 21/12/19 we are heading from Wollongong towards Yass, then up North towards Harden and out to Temora. On Sunday we are heading back via Junee and Cootamundra.
We are looking for any help and support we can get, WATER, FOOD, PRESENTS & MONEY. Every little bit helps.
50% of the money we raise will go to the CWA of NSW drought relief. (A charity that helps families, buy food, pay household bill and medical expenses).
The other 50% will go to the communities we visit on our trip. I am contacting local school principals to identify families that we can support in those areas. Goods in the form of water, food and presents will be donated to these identified families and people we visit on our trip.
Thank you in advance for your help and support.
