Flooded Furnace

Cut to July of 2023.

A flood. A deluge. It affected many, many people and neighbors in Bangor.

Not covered by homeowner's insurance and not covered under warranty. 

The furnace that isn't even 2 years old was flooded, the mud and sludge and water jamming the interior components of it. Two different companies state it cannot be repaired and must be replaced.

It's November now and starting to get really cold.

I'm raising my two nephews who live with me on just my income, we don't get financial help from neither government nor parents.

So here I am, trying to keep my head above water and make this house a home...

I'm asking for donations to pay off the loan against the first furnace and start the funding for the replacement. Any amount donated will help, any advice on programs available to those in need is appreciated. If we meet the goal or go over it, that will be placed into an emergency fund for any future disasters after any other home repairs that are needed.
