Flooding In Shelltown - Anything Helps
Donation protected
Our family would like to extend prayers to all the victims of the flooding endured when a devastating thunderstorm hit San Diego on Monday 22 January 2024. This caused sudden heavy flooding water that reached chest-deep levels within minutes in which the family had to swim out of and eventually had to be emergency rescued. Our home was completely destroyed and held over 40 years of sentimental value and memories for our family. Unfortunately, our family did not have flood insurance and the devastating aftermath and damage is extensive. The cost of repairs, replacement of belongings and securing temporary accommodation is beyond our financial capability. If you can, please consider making a donation directly or Venmo (preferably) to: @Maria-Alvarez-277 or here, as every little bit helps. Your contribution will help with the repairs to the home and everything that was lost. Thank you for your continued prayers, love, and support throughout this difficult time and we thank you for everything and anything as any contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference.
