Flooding of the McPherson Family’s Home

Hello, my name is Nicole McMasters and my son Liam’s best friend, Skylar McPherson and her family need our help. Skylar is a 6th grader at Algood Middle School. On Thursday, May 18, Algood experienced flash flooding, majorly damaging the McPherson’s home and destroying much of their furniture, clothing, and belongings.

Anyone who has ever met her dad Tim will tell you that two things are apparent…his love for his two children and his community. He serves wherever he can and it’s our turn to take care of them.

Skylar is a bright light to everyone around her and an active role in the Algood Middle School theater program. We now have an opportunity from our community and beyond to bless this family.

As you may imagine, the home just isn’t safe to occupy at the moment, and their immediate lodging needs are met, but there is a lot to do going forward and it is not covered by insurance.
