Flooding Relief for Bailey Bebout

Donation protected
On March 17th, our colleague and dear friend was devastatingly affected by the flooding that hit SW Iowa and SE Nebraska.  Bailey’s family home and farm, originally her grandfathers, was completely submerged after the levees were breached near her home. She was able to move her horses at the last minute to higher ground. But the house, barn and lands were completely destroyed.

Her home was submerged for nearly 6 months and only recently have the waters receded and she has been able to get to in. But a recent projection made by the Army Corps of Engineers states that the Missouri will flood again this weekend due to run off in the northern Missouri river basin. So, the house will soon be under water again. All the while she has been fighting with FEMA to get assistance with NO relief. She must continue to pay for her house in addition to other farm costs. And to add to her string of bad luck she recently was driving into work and hit a deer damaging her car.

Bailey is one of the most genuine, nice, funny and caring people I have ever met. Watching her go through all of these struggles with a smile and laughter these past months is inspiring. We wanted to do something for her to ease any burden involving her house payments and car repairs, which is why we started this page. Please give whatever you can to help support Bailey through this nightmare that won't end.
