Floodings in Laos - Support to Vientiane Rescue 1623

Heavy rainfall and flooding are likely to cause widespread disruptions in northern Laos. The Vientiane Administration Office has issued severe flood warnings due to rising water levels in the Mekong River, The forecast predicts flooding primarily in low-lying areas, with the potential for widespread inundation in Vientiane.

In response to the recent flooding in northern Laos, our local partner Vientiane Rescue 1623 is deploying specialized teams of divers and first aid responders to the affected region to provide assistance to the displaced population.

Vientiane Rescue 1623 urgently needs water rescue material, boat engines and personal protective equipment, such as life jackets.

Luxembourg Rescue Organisation has set up this GoFundMe fundraising in order to help our friends from Vientiane Rescue 1623. The collected money will be transferred in its entirety to Vientiane Rescue 1623 which will then purchase the urgently needed items.
