Flores Ohana Fund (Affected in Lahaina Fire)

Aloha, my name is Chellea and I’m writing this on behalf of my family as they were severely affected by the Lahaina Fire of 08/2023. My ohana has lost their home, their vehicle, and all of their worldly possessions. They were very blessed to have made it out with their lives as they only had minutes to evacuate.

Like many other families, the family home was a multi-generational household. Our family has lived in Lahaina and has held many positions within the community. From our great-great grandparents working the plantations to auntie Kathy, always offering a friendly smile and listening ear at Lahaina Longs. We are devastated and this loss is immeasurable.

We have faith in our local community that we’ll build Lahaina back up but until then, they do need your support to get back on their feet. This fund will help them buy clothes, food, gas, and other immediate needs.
