Florida Couple Through Extreme Financial and Health Hardship

Thank you for taking the time to donate or share. We are a couple that is struggling. We are located in Florida. A lot has happened that is putting us under extreme financial strain.

I recently have been in the process of being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I've been struggling to work as it is, and I'm embarrassed to admit I need help. But the amount of pain I'm in every day just keeps increasing, and I can't work enough to keep us afloat as it is. I already have a POTS diagnosis.

Recently, we prepared for Hurricane Milton, but we were already facing hardship, only for it to cause us minimal damage. While we are grateful to still be safe and non-impacted, and our hearts go out to anyone who was impacted heavily by the recent hurricane, we could not afford this.

Recently, we also fell for a loan scam. We were able to pay the check cashing place $700 of the $1400 back; however, the owner is threatening to involve the police if we do not pay the other $700 by the end of the month.

My boyfriend also got in a fender bender that was agreed to be handled by us before we knew the loan was a scam, and we owe them $400. They are also now threatening to involve the police if we don't pay. We also no longer have a vehicle.

We already can't afford food, as the hurricane caused us both to miss work and pay. We had to propose to pay rent later in the month just so we could keep somewhat afloat.

The total amount we are asking for will go towards paying our rent, the loan scam, and the fender bender, as well as any extra will go towards food and buying a used car to help us get around. If any were to be left after this, it would go towards any medical bills I have against me.

Thank you so much for all your time, and we appreciate any help immensely. We have been incredibly down on our luck, and this is our last resort. Any shares or donations are more than appreciated.

EDIT: We've just been informed that we do not have until the end of the month to pay the $700. We have until the end of THIS week. Please, if you can spare even $5, we could use it as soon as possible.

EDIT 2: We have been given a little bit more time, however we don't know how much longer, likely only a week to pay the loan scam back. This is still quite a time crunch, so any help or donations are still incredibly appreciated!
