Florida Crew Rows at Dad Vails

Hi friends and family, rowing enthusiasts and kind hearted souls alike, we are the Florida Crew team. We are deep into our regatta season and approaching the annual prestigious Dad Vail Regatta where our team of 50 rowers and coxswains will compete against over 120 different college crews in the largest boat race in North America. As a club team at the University of Florida we are proud to sport the orange and blue this year in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but are struggling to afford the price of travel, lodging, and entrance fees. Competing at Dad Vails is a dream of our team and we truly have a chance of taking home medals, if we can afford to get there. So, we look to you for any support, big or small, to help us row on the iconic Schuykill River at the Dad Vail Regatta.
To tell you more about us, we are a club team that competes against Division I, II, and III NCAA teams and hold our own. Just recently, both our Novice Women 8+ boats won 2nd and 3rd place in their respective races at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship. Our Varsity Women 8+ placed 4th in Grand Finals and the Varsity Men placed 2nd in their final. We are extremely eager to continue to compete at the Dad Vail Regatta.
The Dad Vail Regatta is held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 13-14, 2016. Your kind donations will help us to afford travel expenses, hotels, race entrance fees, and coaching fees.
