Flowers for Kirvee

This fundraiser is in the memory of our friend Kirvee, also known as @Guardian_Arisha or Mary Brady. Many of you know her as a translator, lore archivist, and fanfiction writer of her many fandoms. She was a kind individual who always supported her friends.

My name is Glance, and I work as a professional florist. Since I have the know-how to order flowers, I want to arrange for a floral spray to be sent to her funeral services (date and location TBD). I feel this is one of the ways we, as her online community, can contribute to her memorial and represent who she was to us from far away.

Kirvee is an organ donor, which is an amazing and selfless gift. As such, we don’t yet know how her family will choose to memorialize her. It is a deeply personal matter, so I am waiting patiently for the details.

The $300 I am asking for will cover one floral spray, which I intend to dictate to the designers as “bright and vibrant” with spring flowers. The reason I am capping this at $300 is because I don’t believe Kirvee would have wanted us to spend thousands of dollars on her flowers. For that reason, any excess funds will be donated to causes she championed, including ASAN (Autism Self Advocacy Network). A full list will be posted when I’ve had time to research which others to donate to.

That said, if you would like to send money for a personal arrangement to be sent to the services or to Kirvee’s family in addition to our spray, I will happily work with you.

If flowers are not your thing, then I encourage you to donate to a charity she would have appreciated!

Everyone who donates will have their name added to the list of “Kirvee’s Friends” that will be included in the card sent out with this spray.

I apologize if this information presents as vague. We are trying to give the family their space and privacy while they cope with this tragedy. When public information is available, I will post it.
