On November 3rd of this year, Floyd Desormeaux was traveling home from his job at a hospital based ambulance company , when another driver hit his car at a high rate of speed, sending him
spinning into a stoplight pole. This person is facing jail time for DUI and Negligent Vehicular Injury. After 22 years of treating others, he was now the patient.
Knocked unconscious, he was treated by coworkers and friends till extricated and transported to the ER. It appears he'll be out for quite some time with rehab. He is the sole provider for his wife , who is disabled paramedic , and young son. Unfortunately due to his short time at his new job, they will not be able to hold his position but will rehire him the day he is released.
However, there will be a lapse between rehire and the end of short term disability benefits ending. Hospital and household bills are mounting. They aren't looking to get rich, just make ends meet till he can get back to work.
The provider has now become the patient and is in need of your help.
