Vision:

To help connect Australia with animals in need.

Mission:

To connect an army of pilots and ground transport with animal rescue organisations and the community by volunteering flights to all airfields across Australia.

A rescue organisation recently asked for donations to help fund the air transport for a couple of their rescue dogs who were on death row to be relocated to their foster families.   I had also been following a US based organisation called PilotsNPaws who provide volunteer pilots and ground transport to help fly and relocate rescue animals around the US.  

Air Carriers can only transport (at cost) to large airports and major regional hubs but lack being able to fly into smaller airfields.  I contacted the animal rescue organisations to discuss and they mentioned that such a service is in desperate need because currently most transport is conducted by land and on long trips it extremely stresses the animals.

Fly4Paws is the first of its kind of service here in Australia.  It's Australian owned and operated and all donations go toward the operation of Fly4Paws and the cost of the flights for the volunteer pilots.

Fly4 Paws will help with:

1. Flying rescue animals across all parts of Australia
2. Flying rescue wildlife who require urgent medical attention
3. Fly animal (and human) medical supplies to remote areas. 
4. Fly vets to areas where animals cannot be transported particularly remote areas.

I have now registered the Not For Profit company Fly4Paws.  Our website is up and running:

Fly4Paws has now applied for Registered Charity Status.
 
We have conducted our first successful mission rescuing two 13 week old heelers who were days away from being euthanased.

We are continuously negotiating discount fuels with petroleum companies and also negotiating waiving landing fees at airfields.

Your donations will allow Fly4Paws to maintain operation and also your donations will help keep the costs down for the volunteer pilots who dedicate their time and cost of their aircraft. 

Without this service countless of animals that haven't had the opportunity to be transported perhaps of otherwise prohibitive costs will continue to be put down. 

This is our chance to make a difference for the voiceless who desperately need our help and Fly4Paws is one of the means to get them to the care and attention they deserve.
