Flying High for Palliative Care Carlow Kilkenny

A Skydive in memory of Breda & Bernie. Supporting The Carlow/Kilkenny Home Care team. All donations will go directly to their account.

I have set up this Skydive fundraising event to honor the memories of Breda Ozun (née Jones 18/02/2023) and her sister Bernie McGarry (Née Jones 05/02/2011) and would like to invite you to join us in supporting the Carlow/Kilkenny palliative care team.

Imelda O’Neill (Jones) their sister and I Catriona Ozun (Breda’s daughter-in-law) will complete a Tandem Skydive at 13,000 ft on the morning of Saturday 6th of Sept 2024 *Weather Permitting*. As a result, our arrival time could change so once again I will confirm actual times nearer the day.

Your donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in the lives of those who are in palliative care. Your generosity will help the team provide essential services such as pain management, emotional support, and end-of-life care. Their service provides compassionate care for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families, ensuring that they receive the best quality of life during their final days.

We know that many of you have been touched by the exceptional care that the palliative care team provides. They work tirelessly to ensure that patients are comfortable and pain-free, and provide much-needed support to families during what can be an incredibly difficult time.

In honor of Breda and Bernie, we are launching this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to support the Carlow/Kilkenny palliative care team.

Our goal will be to get €1 for every foot we fall 12,000ft. (IRISH PARACHUTE CLUB, CLONBULLOGUE, EDENDERRY, CO. OFFALY). These funds will provide financial support for the team so that they can continue to provide the highest level of care to patients and families in need.
