Three Boys Cope for Christmas Mom Passed Away

Donation protected

Mom & Dad of three boys Need Help as 2024 Begins.
Quite likely, 2024 will be Julie’s last year as she battles stage four cancer. Her husband Mike (who is facing depleting eye-site of his own), will be left to nurture and raise their three sons, Grayden 12, Gabe 14 and Grant 15, through their formative years.
Obviously, the family needs financial help and prayer support from many heart-filled people such as yourself.
Julie was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer in October of 2022 with a life expectancy of three (3) years, this is inoperable due to the doubling in size of her liver and because it has attached to the aorta, she was also given a permanent colostomy and has endured a full year of chemotherapy that her body can not withstand, thus the cancer has grown.

On December 15, 2023 Julie was hospitalized with a severe kidney blockage causing her white blood count to diminish to 0.03! That number should be at least a 6 or 7 (thousand). Mike asked her Oncologist “How many Christmas’s do my boys have left with their Mom”? He stated that it was most likely 2023 will be the last Christmas for Julie to celebrate with her three boys that she adores.
I first met the Flynn family seventeen (17) years ago in Saginaw Michigan where I served as their Pastor. Our families enjoyed an almost immediate bond served by a strong faith in Jesus and common life-journeys.
I have always respected the Flynn’s for their resilience through the hard knocks of life and an abiding love for each other and for their children.
I don’t think there is anything that Mike and Julie wouldn’t do for their boys, but there is plenty that they are incapable of doing for them under the present conditions.
Obviously, Julie needs to be able to resign from her job asap so she can rest and try to enjoy her babies for as long as she is able.
Mike’s prospects of employment are unknown due to the two strokes that have left him partially blind and unable to drive for the time being.
Paycheck-to-paycheck would suffice if it were still a reality.
Their hearts, and ours as well, ache for the ongoing financial need of their family and specifically the boy’s future endeavors. Funding would mostly go to the everyday cost of rent, bills both medical and maintaining a home, Julie needs a better suited Van for her mobility issues and the current car is tiny and is very hard on her.
Would you consider making the Flynn family a priority to “get Julie home”!
Julie wants peace of mind that her boys will be OK.
They know this is a lot to ask, they have been humbled by this Cancer but their spirits are hopeful that a global community will rise up to aid them in this tragic time of genuine need.
Your help during this time will provide them with finances for their daily needs and for future sustainability for Mike and their children. Thank you,
Sincerely,
Ken Baker
